The Definition of Divine Orchestration

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: Collosians 1:16 KJV

Famous Symphony Composers

Over the last several centuries, there have been many renowned individuals that have scored music for orchestral performance: Ludwig van Beethoven, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Pyotr llyich Tchaikovsky, and  Igor Stravinsky, to name a few. To use the word masterpiece to describe their work almost seems not good enough. The musical score’s they wrote have stood the test of time integrating themselves into each new era of human history. They have become seemingly timeless and rightfully so. Now, I wonder, if Beethoven was conducting a symphony and discovered a breach in his score, would he be able to fix it while conducting? Perhaps, this is an impossible position to put even the best of the best into one they could not overcome.

God is the most famous symphony composer and conductor of all time. Music and the idea of music came from him as it is written, “All things were made by him and for him.” Yes, even music. Why do you think David made sure the Psalms he wrote were put to music and constantly played in temple worship because music came from God and he loves it. Solomon his son the same according to the order his father had established having written himself over a thousand songs. “And he spake three thousand proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five.” – 1Kings 4:32 KJV

The Lord Jesus is the only One we know that can compose and conduct a musical score and, if tampered with, fix it while performing live. Yes, you and I have many a times had various storms of life come to alter the beauty of holiness in our lives. If it wasn’t something external, it was something internal – our own failures and shortcomings. But, as one man said to his son one day, “Son, there is nothing you can break that I can’t fix!” Even so, when God’s musical score of salvation is playing out in our lives there is nothing any enemy can do to keep it from ending in perfect harmony and triumph.
